I can’t say this lived up to my expectations. This is not a true love triangle (not a spoiler; you find out right away), which is what I was hoping for. However, Emery’s writing has improved and this was better than the previous two books in the series.

I enjoyed it but not necessarily one that will stay with me. The food descriptions certainly made me hungry.
