Twisted has plenty of unexpected turns, living up to the title. The premise of the book - a mysterious and anonymous bestselling crime author with a deadly secret - hooks you from the start. It is intriguing and the shorted chapters keep you turning the page.
However, while the story is engaging it felt reliant of the twists. The characters lacked depth and believability, I just didn't feel attached to them or really care what happened to them.
It made for a quick read, but just felt convoluted by the end and I wasn't left with any lasting impressions.
If you are a fan of twisty thrillers and want a bit of an easier read, this may be up your alley.
