Kurt Andersen is an American novelist, journalist and broadcaster, born in Nebraska. He co-founded the satirical magazine Spy and edited it for seven years, and later served as editor-in-chief of New York magazine. From 2000 to 2020 he created and hosted the public radio programme Studio 360, which won two Peabody Awards.
