Perjalanan naratif berkisar tentang Su Usul, lelaki tua yang menetap di Poseng-- melihat bagaimana Poseng berubah dari hari ke hari, sehingga dia juga kehilangan segala orang tersayang. Perihal utama tentang kerisauan Su Usul tentang sambutan raya korban juga rindu beliau kepada gemulah-gemulah kesayangan yang telah pergi jadi segala suara kecil dalam kepala seorang tua diluah atas naratif. Efisiensi bahasanya bagus dan deskripsi ceritanya kemas cuma aku agak terganggu dengan habit penulis yang suka mengulang narasi bila bercerita tentang Su Usul-- terasa perkembangan wataknya statik dan berlegar di situ saja. \n\nSub-plotnya agak sinikal dan aku suka kepelbagaian karakter yang hidup di Poseng. Ia fokus kepada beberapa isu keagamaan dan konflik masyarakat-- hidup berpuak dan mengabaikan moraliti, prinsip dan asas yang diterap dalam ajaran Islam. Kepercayaan, iman dan keikhlasan yang diletak samar, politik yang pecah belah persaudaraan, sifat iri hati dan pentingkan status juga ambil ringan dengan tanggungjawab. Sejarah Poseng digambar dalam metafora kukuhnya kerukunan rumah agama maka teguhlah sebuah struktur masyarakat jadi sepanjang naratif boleh lihat bagaimana kejahilan meruntuhkan asas dan kemakmuran tanah Poseng.\n\nFiksi yang mencermin realiti, sosial juga sikap dan fikiran praktis individu dalam menentu baik dan buruk.
