Synopsis

Haviland Tuf, a quiet space trader who loves cats, unexpectedly inherits Earth's last seedship. Tasked with preserving countless species, he finds himself confronting the disastrous consequences of human colonization on alien worlds. Tuf must use his integrity and ingenuity to solve problems ranging from monstrous creatures to tyrannical rulers, often being the only thing standing between settlers and ruin.
