Frequently asked questions

  • Do I need to read the Corinna Chapman series in order?

While each book in the Corinna Chapman series features a self-contained mystery, reading them in order allows for a richer understanding of the ongoing character development and relationships, particularly Corinna's personal life and her bakery's evolution.

  • How does this book compare to Kerry Greenwood's Phryne Fisher series?

Trick or Treat, like other Corinna Chapman mysteries, offers a more contemporary setting and a slightly cozier, less overtly glamorous tone than the Phryne Fisher novels. While both feature strong female protagonists solving mysteries, Corinna's world is grounded in everyday Melbourne life and community rather than the high society of 1920s Australia.
