Synopsis

Veteran horseman Randall Drew is pulled into a dangerous mission when the Royal Family requests his help. He must travel to Moscow to protect a prince's brother-in-law, an Olympic hopeful, from a jealous rival who has threatened his life. Leaving his horses and girlfriend behind, Randall steps into a world of international intrigue and peril.

Dick Francis (1920–2010) was a British steeplechase jockey turned crime novelist. Born in Coedcanlas, Pembrokeshire, Wales, he served as an RAF pilot in the Second World War before becoming one of Britain's leading National Hunt jockeys, riding over 350 winners and serving as jockey to Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother — most famously aboard Devon Loch, which collapsed within sight of victory in the 1956 Grand National. After retiring from racing in 1957 he became a journalist and then a novelist...
