Treasures of Egypt

Nefiri Minu, apprentice to the Grand Vizier, is desperate to save her ailing brother. Khafset, a young thief from the persecuted Hyksos people, offers her medicine — in exchange for her help stealing a divine spear from the temple of Ra. The theft goes wrong: touching the spear marks Nefiri as the Chosen One of Set, unleashing the shackled god of destruction on Egypt.

To undo what she started, Nefiri and Khafset must cross into the realm of the gods and the dead, facing mythological creatures and their own history as members of opposing peoples. Their bond deepens into something neither expected, even as the persecution between Egyptians and Hyksos threatens to keep them apart.
