When San Francisco college student Jim Hawkins reads Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island, he is struck by how much of his own aimless life mirrors the classic tale. What follows is a comedic reimagining: instead of pirates on the high seas, Jim and his friends navigate campus romance, career anxiety, and the search for something meaningful in their lives — all while parodying the structure of Stevenson's original adventure.
