Synopsis

Carlie Geraldson hopes a cross-country move to Cincinnati, where her husband will pastor a new church, offers a fresh start for her family. She longs to leave behind a tragic night from her past in South Carolina, wondering if her children will find acceptance in their new congregation. Meanwhile, local resident Esther Lundy observes the new family with a keen eye, noticing a striking resemblance between Carlie's son and her own child at that age. Esther can't help but wonder what secrets the new family carries, and if they know the history of the house they now inhabit.
