Transmodern Literatures in the 21st Century
Transmodern Literatures in the 21st Century: Of(f) Limits collects fourteen scholarly chapters examining how transmodern literature in English over the past two decades has addressed the idea of the limit — geographical, racial, sociocultural, and epistemological. Covering trends from Afrofuturism to YA feminist science fiction, food fiction, and the networked novel, the contributors argue these narratives challenge Euro- and Anthropocentric binaries that have historically excluded non-hegemonic voices, making a case for inclusiveness and relationality in the face of neoliberal globalisation.
