Torment

Mina grows up inside the Celtic Beasts motorcycle club after her mother marries into the family. Her stepbrother Shay becomes the one steady thing in a violent household. He is the man the club sends to handle its dirty work, and the protectiveness that keeps Mina safe as a child hardens into something else as she gets older.

By her teens, Shay's need for her has turned possessive. The family around them leaves her nowhere else to go. The book is dark romance set in an age-gap, stepsibling relationship inside a motorcycle-club world. It is told from Mina's point of view as the control tightens around her.

The story carries past Mina's first attempt to break free. She strikes a deal to protect the people she loves. It isolates her further: fewer people to trust, and a growing dependence on the man holding her there.

It collects the first two books of Dylan Page's Bleeding Hearts series, published within months of each other in 2021.
