Synopsis

In the immediate aftermath of World War II, a young second lieutenant, James D. Cronley Jr., is recruited into a nascent intelligence agency that will eventually become the CIA. Tasked with frustrating and spying on the Soviet Union, Cronley finds himself in a new kind of war. He has seven days to extract vital information from a Soviet agent, but his knack for riling up superiors puts his career on the line. With enemies lurking everywhere, Cronley must quickly learn who to trust, even among his own ranks.
