Synopsis

Anders Nilsen reimagines the Greek myth of Prometheus in a modern Central Asian setting. The story follows the captive god's unlikely friendship with the eagle that tortures him daily, as he plots revenge against his imprisoner. Prometheus's journey intertwines with an East African orphan on a mission of murder and a young man wandering into catastrophe, all set against a backdrop of geopolitical tension in an oil-rich wilderness. This graphic novel is both an adventure and a meditation on human nature in our current historical moment.
