Tokyo Ueno Station
Kazu, born in Fukushima in 1933, finds his life inextricably linked to Japan's Imperial family and the area around Tokyo's Ueno Station. His journey begins as a laborer for the 1964 Olympics, only to end in the park's homeless encampments, his spirit now haunting the very place he lived and died. Traumatized by the 2011 tsunami and angered by the 2020 Olympics announcement, Kazu's ghost reflects on a life shaped by national events and personal hardship.
