Synopsis

Step into the crumbling, ritual-bound world of Gormenghast Castle, where the ancient Groan family presides over a life of endless, meaningless tradition. Meet Lord Sepulchrave, lost in his duties, and the eccentric Countess Gertrude, surrounded by her beloved animals. Their daughter Fuschia navigates this strange existence alongside the Machiavellian kitchen boy, Steerpike, who schemes to rise through the castle's rigid hierarchy.
