If there is ONE thing I love, it's a second chance romance.
Tis the Season for a Cowboy is the perfect little holiday novella. Bellamy and Hank are stuck at their winter cabin for the holiday week. Three years post divorce, but their feelings and attraction haven't changed at all. Bellamy is looking for healing and Hank is looking for the one who got away.
Ava Hunter is a star when it comes to writing emotional scenes. There's something about her writing that I adore. Even in such a short text, her characters and their love for one another felt fleshed out and tangible. The pacing for this book was so well done, especially given the length, and I think a lot of that had to do with how down bad Hank was from the get go. Love a man who yearns for his (ex)wife.
Thank you so much to Ava Hunter for an eARC!! All thoughts are honest and my own.
