Three Witches and the Master

Adam, a low-level amateur wizard working from spells found in a book salvaged from a derelict house, gets more than he bargained for when a woman appears at his back door with no clothes and a lot of demands. Eve, it turns out, is a witch displaced from the 1950s into the present, and she has no intention of explaining herself before commandeering Adam's life.

Things escalate when Eve's sisters, Phyllis and Cindy, show up, and Adam finds himself hosting three witches with their own agendas. At the same time, he's plagued by nightmares engineered by a figure known only as the Master — nightmares that turn out to be a very real threat to his survival.

Max Nowaz's urban fantasy blends dark comedy with genuine danger as Adam is pulled between managing three demanding witches and confronting the Master's designs on him. The book follows Nowaz's Get Rich or Get Lucky but is written to stand on its own.
