Synopsis

Thomas Bernhard's play 'Heldenplatz' explores the lingering shadows of Austria's Nazi past through the story of the Schuster family. On the eve of Professor Josef Schuster's return to Vienna after decades abroad, his family grapples with their own memories and the city's unaddressed history.
