Synopsis

Lucy has a rule about Prince Edward Island: what happens there stays there. On her first trip to visit her best friend Bridget's home, she meets Felix, charming and magnetic and impossible to resist, only to discover he is Bridget's younger brother and therefore completely off-limits. They promise it will never happen again. It keeps happening. Across five years and repeated summers on the island, Lucy and Felix circle each other in secret, until Bridget flees Toronto a week before her wedding and Lucy follows her back to PEI, straight into the one man she can't have. Alternating between past summers and the present, this is a romance about loyalty, longing, and what we risk when wanting someone means betraying someone else.
