Synopsis

In a world where magic fuels an industrial revolution, an archaeology student named Tyen discovers Vella, a sentient book. Vella, once a sorcerer-bookbinder, holds a crucial clue to a looming disaster. Meanwhile, Rielle, a dyer's daughter in a priest-ruled land, secretly possesses magical talent despite being taught it's a sin. Both Tyen and Rielle will soon discover that everything they believe about magic, their laws, and even those they trust, is a lie.
