Yet another fantastic dive into Nikki St. Crowe's fantasy Neverland. For some reason I assumed this was the last book and boy was I in for a shock when I got to the end!
I find this series such an easy read, they are nice and compact, and I can generally read them in one sitting - which I really enjoy. With that said, I want moreeeeee! I love this world and want to know more on how it works, the secrets, the magic etc. I hope that the next book will deliver on this.
I really liked how this book continued off from the last, it made picking the story back up really easy - as Winnie was remembering what happened, I was as well. I would have loved to see more of Winnie being possessed by the Shadow - Like she took on some alter-ego but nevertheless, it was still really good.
Can we talk about Roc because daymnnn I need more from him. A lil Hook and Roc action maybe 😏
I do rate it a solid 4 out of 5 stars - mainly because I feel like these book are on the smaller side and I feel that they had the potential to be a lot large.
Thanks again Peachy Keen and Nikki St. Crowe for the chance to read this as an arc in exchange for an honest review
