Synopsis

Nell McDaragh is a young writer in Dublin, restless and searching for her own voice while ghost-blogging for an influencer. She is the granddaughter of the celebrated Irish poet Phil McDaragh, a man whose love poems feel intimate yet whose real-life abandonment of his family left deep scars. As Nell navigates her own life, her mother, Carmel, struggles to reconcile the public image of the poet with the father who deserted them. This story follows three generations of McDaragh women as they confront the legacy of poetic wonder and the painful reality of abandonment.
