Synopsis

In a world inspired by Hungarian history and Jewish mythology, Évike, an outcast pagan woman, is betrayed by her village and offered as a blood sacrifice. When a monster attack leaves her stranded with Gáspár Bárány, a disgraced prince and one-eyed Woodsman captain, they must form an uneasy alliance. Together, they journey through a dangerous land to stop Gáspár's zealous brother from seizing the throne and instigating a violent reign that would doom both pagans and Yehuli.
