Synopsis

Julia Barlow, having lost her job and apartment, retreats to Pemberton, her family's 17th-century estate in rural Massachusetts, under the guise of checking on her aging grandmother. The house unsettles her from the start — a clock that stops at the same hour every night, unexplained lights, cries in the dark — and digging into the property's past turns up a link to a woman executed for witchcraft in 1692. Old family secrets start clawing their way back into the present.
