The Winter Sea

Carrie McClelland, a writer, rents a remote house in Scotland to work on her new novel. She finds herself drawn into the story of Sophia Paterson, a woman from the 18th century who was involved in the Jacobite uprising. As Carrie writes, she begins to experience Sophia's life, blurring the lines between past and present and uncovering a love story that transcends time.
