Synopsis

Two travelers canoeing down the Danube River find themselves stranded on a lonely island of shifting sand and endless willow bushes. As the wind rises and the landscape begins to feel sentient, they realize they have stumbled into a place where the barrier between our world and something much older has worn thin. They must keep their wits about them to survive a night against forces that defy human understanding.
