Synopsis

Lady Sandrilene fa Toren has finally agreed to visit her cousin, the Empress of Namorn, a trip she's long avoided. Accompanied by her old friends Daja, Tris, and Briar, Sandry hopes to rekindle their bond, though they've grown apart. Upon their arrival, Sandry uncovers the Empress's true intentions: a cunning trap to keep her in the brutal Empire forever. With powerful mages on the Empress's side, Sandry must convince her estranged friends to work together if she hopes to escape her cousin's clutches.
