I've been devouring the books in this series... This book was more developed than the first one. The world build is more complex and mesmerizing.The "fighting" scenes were better, fights against ghosts and even against humans. We get to know the characters and understand them better. The sarcasm and the bickering never disappoints. I'm loving the romance sub-plot between the 2 main characters. It's a slow-burn romance that keeps you anticipating more with each chapter. The friendship between the 3 characters is definitely deeper but we're also see each character shine and show more of their talents and quirks. Also, the ending was ugh
