The West Passage
Kew and Pell, two members of the Grey Tower, set out on a perilous journey across the Palace — a vast, city-like megastructure divided among five factions. As they travel toward their destination, an old enemy resurfaces to threaten everything they've built together.
The narrative is frequently compared to Mervyn Peake's Gormenghast series due to its focus on a vast, decaying architectural setting and the weight of tradition on its inhabitants [1.1.7].
The novel was selected as a shortlist nominee for the 2025 Ursula K. Le Guin Prize for Fiction.
