Synopsis

The Weirdie triplets — Barnacle, Garlic and Melancholy — are strange even by the standards of Deadeye Manor, the gloomy house they call home. When the rest of the estate departs on an ill-fated cruise, the children are left behind to fend for themselves.

Into their chaos walks Miss Emily, a relentlessly sunny caretaker who takes on the job of teaching three feral, macabre siblings how to be a family. What follows is a comic tug-of-war between children who take pride in being awful and an adult who simply will not be scared off.

Michael Buckley, author of The Sisters Grimm, wrote the story as an Audible Original comedy for children; the full-cast performance is led by Kate Winslet. It opens a series that continues with The Weirdies Get Weirder.
