Really picks up after the very slow chapter 1 (~100pgs) though I was unsure if this was for me & found it challenging at first with the amount of Welsh.
I will read the next entry in the series as I liked the narrator/protagonist quite a lot. Arthur is more of a side character and doesnt get much attention, which is maybe for the best, as the other characters have depth to them which this Arthur lacks (in this installment at least..)
Though its fiction, the history is absorbing & well done, as always by B. Cromwell, & I enjoyed that greatly.
