Synopsis

In 1812 England, Alexander Tate is recovering from an accident that leaves him blind. Retreating to the countryside, he finds his quiet recovery interrupted by the intriguing voice of a young woman who reads to him daily. As Alexander's feelings deepen, he wonders if her visits are born of kindness or something more. He soon discovers that he isn't the only one facing a form of blindness, and both must learn to trust in a higher power for healing.
