This book felt like a gigantic hug. It was Mika’s journey to find her own family and learning how to trust in people that love you when you don’t feel good enough.

I loved everyone, a very diverse set of characters. Nowhere House Family was like a really cute mess.

Usually I hate when authors includes unnecessary things just to make the novel longer, but I really wanted more. More of everything, the magic lessons, the bonding moments between Mika and the girls, the family times, a bit more of the ending as well.

I was not expecting that plot twist, it was great, a lot darker than the tone of the first part of the book but I enjoyed it.
