Synopsis

Stevie Bell thought she'd solved the Hayes Major murder, but her parents' decision to pull her from Ellingham Academy throws her plans into chaos. To get back to her friends and the unsolved 1916 Ellingham case, Stevie makes a dangerous deal with Senator Edward King, only to discover his son, David, is the guy she kissed and who lied about his identity. As Stevie navigates this complicated relationship, she must also confront the lingering mysteries of the Ellingham affair, where the truth might cost someone their life.
