The Unmothers
Synopsis
A journalist, still grieving her husband's death, is sent to the remote town of Raeford to investigate a bizarre rumor about a horse giving birth to a human baby. What she finds is a community that values its horses more than its people, and a dark, generational secret that may be connected to the recent discovery of two mangled bodies. As she digs deeper, her grasp on reality begins to slip, forcing her to question if she's losing her mind or uncovering a truth that has haunted the town's women for generations.
