Synopsis
The Tribe: A New World is the first of a series of original novels continuing the cult New Zealand television series The Tribe, written under the pseudonym A.J. Penn.
Set in a world where a mysterious virus has wiped out every adult, the story follows the teenagers left behind as they carve out territory, form makeshift tribes, and struggle over resources and leadership in a city with no rules left to enforce them. Picking up threads from the TV series, the novel expands on the politics between rival tribes and the fragile alliances that hold the survivors together.
It was followed by A New Dawn and (R)Evolution, continuing the story beyond where the television series ended.
