Synopsis

The Tomb of Dragons concludes Sarah Monette's Cemeteries of Amolo trilogy (originally published under her pseudonym Katherine Addison). Thara Celelar, once the city's Witness for the Dead, has lost his gift—until he is forced into an abandoned mine where a dragon's spirit and a desperate situation restore it. What follows is a dark investigation into corporate greed, murdered dragons, and the men who buried them alive beneath the earth. Atmospheric, richly textured urban fantasy with a slow-burning romance at its core.
