I honestly wasn’t expecting to love this book as much as I did, definitely 5⭐️. It completely pulled me in, and before I knew it, I was flying through the pages because I just needed to know what was going to happen next.
The story follows a young woman whose quiet life is turned upside down when she crosses paths with a mysterious starmaker. What begins as a journey filled with magic slowly unfolds into something much deeper, exploring grief, hope, love, and what it truly means to let go.
My favorite moment was when the sun remembered why she was doing all of this after forgetting it for so many years. It was such a beautiful scene that perfectly captured the magic, emotions, and meaning behind the story.
What I loved the most was how different it felt from the fantasy books I usually read. Rachel Griffin created a world that felt magical without being overwhelming, with a soft and dreamlike atmosphere that made it impossible to stop reading.
This book surprised me emotionally. The characters, their relationships, and the quiet moments all felt so genuine, and by the end, I was completely attached.
It’s one of those books that stays with you after the last page. If you’re looking for a standalone fantasy that is magical, emotional, and beautifully written, give this one a chance. 🤍✨.
