I have some criticism when it comes to Rupi Kaur's poetry mainly because at a certain point I had an overdose of it (thank you IG captions), it became overused, overseen, inescapable. But every year, I make myself read modern poetry books for the sake of staying in touch with what's happening in the literary world of poetry. This book wasn't really poetry, it was more like a compilation of beautiful sentences, I'm not gonna lie, some of these ''poems'' touched me profoundly, a lot of them seemed like paraphrases of other works and ''déjà read''. I had moments of literary bliss and cringe moments. Overall it was not bad, but Rupi Kaur is definitely not my cup of tea.
