Synopsis

Paul Di Filippo's Steampunk Trilogy offers three short novels set in a wildly alternative 19th Century. In 'Victoria,' a human/newt clone replaces the Queen, sparking a race to find the original monarch. 'Hottentots' sees Massachusetts battling H.P. Lovecraft-esque monsters, while 'Walt and Emily' follows Emily Dickinson and Walt Whitman on a journey to a dimension beyond time, where they encounter a future Allen Ginsberg.
