Synopsis

In feudal Japan, a lonely samurai is sent to a remote house to kill a witch, but instead finds himself drawn into a complex relationship with her. As he grapples with his duty and his growing feelings, the lines between hunter and hunted blur, forcing him to confront his own identity and the nature of his mission.
