Synopsis

The third novel in Jeff Shaara's Western Theater series turns to the autumn of 1863 and the fight for Chattanooga, Tennessee — the gateway to the Deep South. Told through the perspectives of Union generals Ulysses S. Grant, William T. Sherman and George Thomas alongside Confederate commanders Braxton Bragg, Patrick Cleburne and James Longstreet, the novel follows the battles at Lookout Mountain and Missionary Ridge that broke the Confederate hold on the city.
