The Shadowy Horses

Archeologist Verity Grey travels to the remote Southern Borderlands, drawn by dark legends and the search for the lost Ninth Roman Legion. Her eccentric boss believes he's found the site, not through science, but because a local boy claims to see a ghostly Roman soldier guarding the fields. On these windswept shores, Verity must uncover the truth behind one of history's great unsolved mysteries, or risk disturbing secrets best left buried.
