Synopsis

The Sea Star Bakery is the second novel in Nicole Ellis's Willa Bay series, published in 2020.

Cassie finally has the chance to open the bakery she has been working toward, and it arrives at the same time as her ex-husband Kyle, whose presence complicates everything she thought she had settled. Zoe pushes ahead with the plan to make the Inn at Willa Bay a proper wedding venue, a project that keeps testing what she and the inn can afford. Meg is working more than one job while she tries to hold on to her own culinary ambitions, and Libby, watching her friends chase what they want, has to look at a marriage that is not working.

Like the first book, it moves between the friends' viewpoints, is set in the same Washington coastal town, and is written clean — no profanity or explicit content.
