Synopsis

In 1976 Spain, four women flee the safety of their convent, each carrying a personal burden. Lucia harbors a murderous secret, Graciella is haunted by a past sin, Megan seeks refuge with a Basque rebel, and Teresa struggles with her faith. Thrust into a dangerous world, they become entangled in a violent conflict between the Basque underground and the Spanish army, led by a ruthless colonel determined to destroy them.
