The sad tale of the brothers Grossbart

In 1364, brothers Hegel and Manfried Grossbart, descendants of graverobbers, embark on a naive quest for fortune in the fabled crypts of Gyptland. Their journey through medieval Europe forces them to brave dangerous lands and keep company with desperate travelers, encountering living saints, lively demons, monsters, and madmen. The brothers soon discover that legends hold truths, and fates worse than death await those who choose a villainous path.
