The Prophecy

Against a backdrop of worldwide, unexplainable natural disasters, Dr. Virginia Marilyn Edwards walks into a secretive government facility looking for Agent Scott Thomas. The events, she says, are signs, and they will get worse without his help. Then she tells him why she is certain: she is pregnant, and she believes she is Mary.

What follows is a supernatural thriller that moves between faith, scepticism and the machinery of a government that would rather the story went away — a question of whether a modern world would recognise a prophecy if it were standing in front of it.

The Prophecy is an Audible Original written by Randy McKinnon and performed by a full cast including Kerry Washington, Laurence Fishburne, David Oyelowo, Daniel Dae Kim and Asa Butterfield. It is a scripted audio drama rather than a printed novel.
