Another beautifully written book that was set in an interesting world, following multiple people.

Samantha Shannon has done it again after ADoFN, and managed to flesh out another book I couldn't wait to read. It was very interesting with my knowledge from the prequel going into this book and seeing how everything fit in.

The ending seemed to be rushed after the epic high point, just missed a little sweet spot.

Rating: 4.5 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗

Genre: High Fantasy Romance 🐉❤️‍🔥 | Tropes: Royalty/servant, ice queen, friends to lovers | 🌶️ : 🌶️🌶️ | Medium: Audiobook 🎧, narrator Liyah Summers | CW: war, violence, death | Review: | I came for the lesbians and dragons, but stayed for the intricate plot and Liyah Summers’ enchanting lilt 😍 | | | If you haven’t physically read this book, I do not recommend trying to consume it via Audiobook- With that said, this audiobook was amazing and Liyah Summers is a phenomenal narrator. What was a very detail heavy and complex story became easy to decipher and pick apart thanks to Liyah’s emphasis and diverse range of accents! | This story is full of love, and honor, and loss, and dragons. My heart was shattered, my soul ripped apart - every time something starts going well everything goes wrong and no matter how many times it happened I never expected it the next time! Samantha Shannon has created a beautiful and immersive world that my younger sapphic dragon loving self dreamed of existing in. And I’m so grateful I got to exist in this world for a bit 😍

Ahhhhh oh my gosh!!! I love this book so, so much! I’ll post a more coherent review on my blog soon, but for now all I’ve got to say is that this is amazing and so worth the length!
