To be honest, I must be really dumb. It was so obvious. But Freida kept throwing twists and details and I just… didn’t notice. Okay, in the first chapter the very first thing I thought was “it was him,” but then came the jokes, the funny moments, and I just dropped the idea completely.
I gave it three stars because I felt stupid, honestly, not because the book was bad or anything like that. I actually liked it a lot! But I got a bit frustrated with the plot because I was 100% focused on what I thought it was. I always forget Freida never makes the obvious answer the real one.
And the ending? Kind of open… left me with that little nagging feeling, and then… the book just ended.
